The lives of Denise and Kevin Jonas would never be the same after the births of their sons Paul Kevin Jonas II, Joseph Adam Jonas, and Nicholas Jerry Jonas. Little Frankie-aka Bonus Jonas-wouldn't join the band of brothers until 2000.

Kevin, Joe and Nick were not boys born into fame and wealth. Instead, they grew up in Wyckoff, New Jersey, as part of an ordinary, tight-knit, loving and musically inclined family. Musicians themselves, Denise and Kevin Jonas Sr. instilled a love of and passion for the world of music into their sons, and it wasn't long before each was exploring his talent in his own way.

Kevin taught himself to play guitar! "I was home sick one day, and I didn't want to watch daytime TV anymore," Kevin explains. "So I picked up a teach-yourself-guitar book and then I've never put the guitar down since, and it's six years later."

Nick would also learn his own killer guitar skills a bit later in life, but his love of singing was something that was with him from birth. From as early as the age of two, Nick was before his extraordinary voicewas discovered and he was performing on Broadway. He appeared in shows like Les Miserables, Beauty and the Beastand A Christmas Carol from the ages of seven to 11.

"Broadway was amazing-I loved it!" Nick shares. "I feel like it was really good training for what I'm doing now. It opens you up and you can perform."

Joe expressed his spotlight desires in other ways-he had early aspirations of becoming a comedian! "When I was little, I always said I did not want to sing!" Joe saya. "I just wanted to be on All That-that was my show!" Joe would never lose his comedic streak, but the music bug grabbed a hold of him, too, before long and he joined his brother in the Broadway world when he scored a role in Baz Luhrmann's Broadway production of La Boheme (Rent is a modern remake of this play).

In addition to Joe and Nick's Braodway careers, all three brothers continued on in the acting groove as they starred in a variety of popular commercials together for products such as LEGOS, Clorox and Burgur King. But as much fun as the boys had acting together, they still found themselves having more fun practicing music together in their New Jersey home.

It was Nick's musical ability that was discovered first outside the Broadway realm. After hearing his voice, Daytime/Columbia Records offered the youngest Jonas Brother a solo recard deal. Shocked at this amazing opportunity and wanting to include his supportive brothers in it however he could, Nick enlisted Kevin and Joe to help him write songs to submit for his solo album. That's when fate intervened. After learning that Nick had two music-loving brothers, the label auditioned the trio-and signed them immediately!

It was dream come true for the Jonas family to have the guys together in a rock band. Despite the fact that the boys had never recorded anything professionally before and their parents didn't have much experience being celeb managers, the crew banded together and worked hard to produce the best possible record they could. The result was the AMAZING first JB album, It's About Time!

It's About Time was a fun mix of pop/rock songs with catchy lyrics and tunes. Two of the stand-out tracks were the upbeat "Year 3000", a remake of a hit from the British band Busted, and "Mandy", a song written by the boys about a close friend who was taught sign language by Denise so that she could one day work with the hearing-impaired. The frutis of their labor seemed to start paying off when the music video for "Mandy" reached number four on the MTV's TRL charts. The little group that could started gaining a fiercely loyal following that couldn't resist their cute brotherly appeal and unique musical gifts!

The Jonas Brothers were becoming a force to be reckened with, especially in the online world, where their MySpace fans kept multiplying! Despite their solid fan-base however, It's About Time was marked by poor album slaes. After numerous public performances and appearances, the Jonas Brothers eventually parted ways with Columbia Records-it seemed as if all hope was lost!

The loss of a record label would be enough to destroy anyone's ambitions-but that wasn't the case with the Jonas Brothers. They knew that they could still achieve everything that they had dreamed of-it really was about time...and their time just hadn't come yet.

But it would come sooner than they thought. It wasn't long before Hollywood Records came knocking on the Jonas door. Hollywood was a major label that had recently exploded with slaes after jump-starting the music careers of Disney Channel megastars like Hilary Duff and Jesse McCartney. After meeting the people who would he helping them along on the path towards their sophomore album, the guys knew they had found home.

The time away from recording hadn't left the Jonas trio rusty in more shocked by immediate explosion of rumors regarding their personal lives that suddenly became public knowledge. The biggest, however, was the speculation that Nick Jonas was dsating Disney pop princess Miley Cyrus. The gossip continued to swirl around the pair, especially as all the guys filmed their exciting guest spot in the Hannah Montana episode "Me and Mr. Jonas and Mr. Jonas and Mr. Jonas"-but they remained tight-lipped about it.

The brothers would continue on the fast-track to success as thier Hannah Montana episode premiered after High School Musical 2 to 10.7 million viewers! The boys' real-life comedic skills shone through and Disney took notice! To the guy's astonsihment, Disney Channel offered them a television series of their own. J.O.N.A.S! The show would have them playing brothers-who were also undercover spies! In addition to the pilot, Kevin, Joe and Nick also signed on to star in the Disney Channel Original Movie Camp Rock, about a famous music groupand its lead singer who falls in love with an ordinary, yet musically-gifted, girl at rock camp.

It was full steam ahead for the Jonas Brothers and they were quickly becoming the hottest new act on the music block. That kind of success comes with negative temptations...and it often goes to other atists' heads. But not every celebrity is lucky enough to have the kind of family these guys came from!

After filming Camp Rock in Canada, the guys accepted an opening-act slot on the superhuge Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana:Best of Both Worlds Tour! The tour was a smash and was even turned into a 3D movie. Despite not being the main act, the Jonas Brothers generated just as much buzz as head-liner Miley-although part of that was from the still lingering rumors about the Nick-Miley relationship.

Those rumors would soon be squelched, however, as the boys geared up for their first big heaglining tour, the When You Look Me in the Eyes Tour. The guys were amped to get on the road, and in the midst of press interviews, Nick was quoted as saying:"I can honestly say that I am not dating Miley Cyrus." Fans who loved knowing their favorite boys were single rejoiced everywhere. They also revealed that they were already working on their third album, which dropped on August 12, 2008.

The tour was a huge hit with the fans of all ages. When it ended, the guys would barely stop to take a breath before getting to work on putting the finishing touches on their third album and filming episodes of JONAS, which was put on hiatus for sometime due to the Hollywood Writer's Strike and the boys busy schedule.

There's nowhere to go but up for this talented trio-yet they have still remained the same down-to-earth and gracious brothers they were when they first stared out.

That just goes to show you that good guys don't always finsih last, they can finish first and on top of the rest.

The Jonas Brothers are the perfect example of how there are no limits to what can be achieved by ordinary people with extraordinary talents, a hard work ethic, an amazing support system of family and friends and a belief in themselves that never dies.

Since the Jonas Brothers started in 2005, their lives have been unforgettable. They have won an unaccountable amount of awards, including the most Teen Choice Awards ever to be won by teen stars. They have had 2 very successful world tours on top of many other world tours, have been on the cover of 2 Rolling Stones magazines, they had 2 albums go to #1 in just 10 months, and they have stared in their own major motion picture movie, 2 television shows, and 2 made for tv movies. Even though the Jonas Brothers were dropped from their very first record label, they proved that the harder you try, the more successful you will be.

While the Jonas Brothers have ventured off onto other things for a moment in time, Nick going solo and returning to Broadway, Joe going solo, and Kevin getting married; they have regathered and have released a new song called "Dance Until Tomorrow". Talks have surfaced the three will be releasing a new album in 2012.
